Option 1 - Staying an extra day , highly recommended in Kibale for relaxation and amazing scenery being able to experience primates right outside your accommodations as you walk on the grounds. As well, as an additional day once leaving Bwindi head to Mgahinga for golden monkey trekking and a night of accommodations.
Option 2 - If it is required for you to take a much easier gorilla trek that it be taken in Mgahinga and therefore either forfeiting the golden monkey trekking to be replaced by the gorilla trek or forfeit the extra night in Kibale or the night in Bwindi (since you would not be gorilla trekking in that location although highly recommended to stay a night to experience the majestic view.

Entebbe to Zwai and on to Murchison Falls
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and make an early start on your journey to Zwai sanctuary to visit Rhinos and continue to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover in Masindi town for lunch. Proceed to Murchison Falls and visit the top of the falls which is one of the star attractions in the area before proceeding to your accommodations where you will unwind for the rest of the evening. Day 3
Game drive and boat safari
Wake up early and go for a game drive where you may spot various animal species like elephants,giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. Return for a late breakfast and in the afternoon you will go for a boat safari on the River Nile with its streaming hippos and crocodiles along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species going down to drink and bathe. Return for a late lunch and relax, later following with dinner and overnight accommodations.
Day 4
Murchison to Kibale National Park
Have breakfast and then drive to Kibale Forest National Park which is home to the Chimpanzees. This is a full day drive with a packed lunch en route and arriving at the lodge in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 5 Chimpanzee trekking
After breakfast you will fo for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale's 795km National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forests in the whole of Uganda. This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees. After trekking you will have lunch and then complete a community tour or vice versa depending on the availability of morning or afternoon trekking permits. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6
Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy breakfast and then continue with a most beautiful drive to QENP. Upon arriving you will have to opportunity to experience the amazing opportunity of being in the presence of various wildlife and then enjoy a wonderful evening on the lake near a village where you will have the opportunity to see hippos and elephants grazing on the lands. You will be able to enjoy an outdoor dinner, weather permitting and relax by an open outdoor campfire before retiring to your Banda for the evening.

Kibale to Bwindi for Gorillas
Enjoy morning breakfast in Kibale and transfer to Bwindi National Park driving through the famous Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you may spot some game including tree climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi with packed lunch en route arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 8 Gorilla Trekking
Have an early morning breakkfast and report at the park headquarters for a briefing by the park ranger guides after which you will head into the forest for gorilla trekking in Bwindi. This could take 4-8 hours depending on the movement of the mountain gorillas. Upon discovering the gentle mountain gorillas, you will be permitted 1 hour to view and take photos of these primate (no flash allowed in order to not startle the gorillas) which often seem not to mind about the visitors' attention as they go about their daily lives. Return to starting point where you will meet your driver and transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
If time permits you can visit an orphanage and experience the culture of the Batwa people who used to live off the land and in the forests.
Day 9 Kampala
Have breakfast and head to Kampala driving across some incredible landscapes, local markets and towns. Enjoy lunch en-route in Mbarara town and proceed to Kampala arriving in the late afternoon. Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe or airport for your flight back home.

3 Day Golden Monkey in Uganda to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park to experience an up-close encounter with the amazing fun-loving golden monkeys. This is a unique experience that lasts a lifetime!
The golden monkey is a species of Old World monkeys found in the Virunga volcanic mountains of Central Africa including Mgahinga Gorilla National Park which is located in southwest Uganda. You will be able to see other primate species like the red colobus monkey, black & white colobus monkey, blue monkey grey checked, mangabey vervet monkey, red-tailed monkey and the L'Hoest monkey. Once the golden monkeys are located you will have some time viewing them for 1 hour.
Itinerary Overview

Day 1 Arrival & Hotel Transfer
On arrival for your 3 day golden monkey safari you will be met by our driver/guide at Entebbe Airport and transfer to your lodge in Entebbe to unwind, have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day2 Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel in Entebbe or at the airport on arrival and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park . (283km from Kampala). You will first make a stop at the Equator crossing to take photos and will have lunch upon reaching Mt. Muhabura. After lunch you will transfer approx half hour to the park where you will be briefed by the ranger guides and head in to the forest for your trek. Golden monkeys trekking in Mgahinga takes 3 to 4 our depending on the movement of the golden monkeys. These primates roam freely and there is no way of telling where they will be for a particular day.
On finding the you will be allowed 1 hour to view and take photos of these amazing primates and then meet your driver/guide and transfer back to your lodge. The time after trekking can be spent relaxing at the lodge as you savour the memo\kries of your golden monkey trek in Mgahinga and prepare for the next day. Have dinner, enjoy a campfire outdoor or indoor depending on the weather and enjoy your overnight stay.
NOTE: at this point is where the extra day turning your tour into a 4 day tour would incurr in which you would enjoy breakast and head to the village (approx 1 hour drive) to visit the Batwa people who once lived in the forests and lived off the land. Return to your lodge and relax and enjoy the view of the Virunga Mountains -- Sabyinyo, Muhabura and Mgahinga mountains. The oldest mountain is Mount Sabyinyo, which rises 3,634 metres (11,923 ft) above sea level. The Virunga Mountains are home of the critically endangered mountain gorilla, listed on the IUCN Red List of Endangered Species due to habitat loss, poaching, disease, and war (Butynski et al. 2003). The Karisoke Research Center, founded by Dian Fossey to observe gorillas in their native habitat, is located between Mount Karisimbi and Mount Bisoke.
Day 3 Transfer back to Entebbe
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer back to Entebbe with a packed lunch arriving in the afternoon. Drop off at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala or the airport for your onward flight marking the end of your 3 day golden monkey safari. (or 4 day golden monkey safari if you choose to extend)

and make an early start on your journey to Zwai sanctuary to visit Rhinos and continue to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover in Masindi town for lunch. Day 2
Game drive and boat safari
Wake up early and go for a game drive where you may spot various animal species like elephants,giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. Return for a late breakfast and in the afternoon you will go for a boat safari on the River Nile with its streaming hippos and crocodiles along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species going down to drink and bathe. Return for a late lunch and relax, later following with dinner and overnight accommodations.
Day 3
Enjoy breakfast and with packed lunch head back to your accommodations in Entebbe or Kampala or to the airport for departure.

Pick up at your location and tour the city, have lunch, continue tour and return to your pick-up location

Independence Monument -stop 30 minutes
Travellers will get to see the independence monument and find out how and when Uganda got independence and be able to take photos.
Nakasero Market - stop 30 minutes
You will help food vendors sell food at their stalls.
Owino Market - stop 60 minutes
You will help market vendors sell second hand clothes. Perphaps also learn how to fry Rolex (a popular delicacy of Chapati with eggs)
Kasubi Tombs - stop 60 minutes

Baha'i Temple completed in 1961 the Kampala temple is the mother temple of the Baha'i faith in Africa. It sits on 52 acres of land on Kikaaya hill against the western horizon of Kampala City. It represents oneness and unity with its nine-sided magnificent silhouette. It is surrounded by immaculate beautiful grounds which are serene with a wide range of birds and photographic opportunities. It is also known as The Dawning Place of the Praise of God.
Don't forget that Kampala city is the capital of the "Pearl of Africa" as it was called by Winston Churchill, is gifted by nature. The city tour will take you through the city to get a view of Kampala from all its different perspectives.

Gaddafi Mosque
It stands magnificently on Old Kampala Hill with the best view over Kampala City commissioned by the late Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. The art with which it was built will totally amaze you. There is none like it in Uganda although Uganda has several mosques. The mosque has a cool atmosphere inside with plush carpets and a rich Moroccan architecture and art.
